Mustang

Once the rain stoped I bursted out the door into a run and didn't look back. I didn't know were I was going or what was running through my head but it shure felt good. I ran until I couldn't breath than I had to slow to a walk everything smelt so good and clean and fresh. I found a streem at the edge of the farm it was babling away so peaceful and perfet than I heard foot steps behind me. "Oh great I'm being fallowed" I thought. "What wrong?" Said Ted. "Nothing I felt like running". I said "You are strange" Ted said. I just smiled and hugged him and was happy to be with him at that moment.

Don't

Don't stand there and tell me your sorry because I don't beleave you
Don't pretened your my friend show me you are
Don't walk out on me when I don't walk out on you
Don't leave me alone when I 'm scared because I'll be there for you
Don't tell me you love me than break my hart
Don't laugh at me when I squrew up just help me
Don't ignore me when I cry out for help
Don't let go of me when I need you to hold me tight
Don't feel sorry for me when I don't need it
Don't tell me to jump when I'm not ready
Don't be a hero all the time it's nice to just blend in
Don't pretend to be brave it's ok to be scared

Mustang

After all the unwraping was over with the rain seam to slow to a drizzle. For once I'd like to see snow I've always woundered what it's like. "Earth to Mag what are you thinking" Marc said. "Snow" I mumbled. "You arn't going to find any of that here kiddo" Dad said. I sighed and walked to the front door and went outside. The gentil rain made everything green and lush I wished it would be like this forever.

Mustang

I awoke with the thunders clap and the pitter patter of on comeing rain. Just what I wanted for Christmas rain all day so much for sun. I could hear the boys sneeking down stairs but I believe it was useless there like a herd of elephants trampling the jungle. "Hey sleepy head Merry Christmas". Marc said. "Mmmfmm Merry Christmas". I said muffled. Marc stood there like a little child waiting for me to make my move as I stirred in my bed. "come on let's go". Marc said. "I'm moveing". I said lifting my arm. With one fowle swoop I didn't have time to collect my thoughts I was craddled in Marcs arms as he carried me down staires. Gifts lined the floor as I looked around in shoke as to how mu stuff was there. A clap of thounder and a flash of lighting light up the room and I jumped as I stood up. "Aww Maggie's a chicken". Teddy mocked. "Enough now sit down". Dad barked. "It's Christmas be nice". Mom said. I turned ever so quickly stuck out my toung and turned back.

Mustang

I stood on the front porch and watched the man before me as the clouds swallowed the sun and the rain started to come. I walked back into the house as my mom started to hum to the music on the radio she has such an amazing voice. I stood there for a moment listening to her in amaze ment. "Would you like to dance mam?" My mom said. "I would love to" I said my mom took my hand as we danced across the kitchen floor. Later on that dayI came down the staries to see all these boxes lined the floor wich only ment one thing. "We get to decorate for the old fat man" Brady said. "Are we going to get the tree?" I asked. "Already on it's way" Mom said. I always loved Chrsitmas all the joy and fun we have I only wish it would snow. "And don't ask for snow this year you know you wont get it" Mom said. "Darn" I laughed. "You know what I would like for Christmas?. Mom said. "What?" Marc said. "For the house to decorate it's self but it'll never happen so lets get to work" Mom said. After a few hours we finly got the houes fixed and ready to go.

Mustang

I shot straight up out of a dead sleep to the sound of my father barking out things to the farm hands. I walked over to my window and opened it and listened. "If you don't do it I will". Dad said. "I can't it's Maggies and nither can you your daughers loves him". Sam said. "He'll never be able to do barrell raceing agin he's a lame horse she'll understand". Dad said. After I heard that I quickly dashed out of my room and down the stairs. "Were is the fire" .Mom said. "Can't talk" I said as I burst out of the front door. "Dad stop, stop you can't do that" I cried. "Do what?" dad replyed "You can't put Mika down he's mine" I cried. "He's a lame horse he'll never be the same" Dad said. "Would you do that to your own child" I said. "Honey we'll get you a new one" Dad said.
I stood between my dad and the barn looked into his eyes and said "I'm the only girl in the family and I know you wanted another boy but you got me. you never gave up on me so why give up on him?" I said. Dads stone face grew softer and I started to see the man he really is. "Fine keep him Sam come on we have a horse to take care of" Dad said. Mom came outside to see what we were up to. "Now what's going on here?" Mom said. "He's staying". I blurted out. "Your girl is as hard headed as that Mustang we have" Dad said. Mom smiled and hugged dad and walked away.

I could feel the glare o my fathers eyes as I sat there with my head down. "Look at me" Dad said
scared looked at him not knowing what he wanted. "What did you do to your leg?". Dad said scared to speek I just stared at him. "Speak to me and tell me what happened" Dad said. I could hear the anger in his voice I started to feel sick. "We were playing tag and she triped over a rock"Marc said. I looked over at him and he slid in a smile. "Where were you playing?" Dad said "Out by the cow pasters" Marc said. "You must be more carefull" Dad said. Later on I lay in bed over hearing my parents speaking to one another. "She's trouble" Dad said. "She the only girl she's trying to fit in" Mom said. "By rolling around in the dirt' Dad said. "You never wanted a girl and now you do you wish'd be proper". Mom said. "I whis she'd act like a girl". Dad said. "She can't not when you expect her to be a boy" Mom said. "She's afraid that if she doesn't a certian way you wont accpet her". Mom said. "I do accept her" Dad said and all the sudden it all went quite. I saw my door open I pretend to sleep. I knew he was watching me and I knew that big tuff man had a soft spot he never shows to anyone but his little girl. "You got me wrap around your little finger". Dad wishpered
